Construction and Full Life Cycle Application Practice of Digital Twin Platform for Infrastructure Engineering

In response to the pain points such as data fragmentation, weak business collaboration, and insufficient intelligent operation and maintenance in the full life cycle management of infrastructure projects, this paper proposes an overall architecture of a digital twin platform consisting of "one engineering data center + three business platforms +N support systems". By breaking through key technologies such as digital twin modeling, collaborative drawing and integrated management, we have independently developed 9 BIM professional design systems and a unified engineering data center. We have also integrated BIM, GIS and IoT technologies to build three major business platforms: collaborative design, digital construction management and operation and maintenance management. Form a digital technology system covering the entire process from survey, design, construction to operation and maintenance. Based on specific engineering practices, the production process, organizational structure and management model are restructured around BIM collaborative design to promote the transformation and upgrading of the enterprise's business processes, establish a production and management system that is compatible with it, and form a series of BIM technical standards and management norms. This research provides an implementable technical path and practical reference for the digital transformation of infrastructure engineering, and has significant engineering application value and academic significance.
