PADiTIndex: Novel index on the propensity for digital transformation in agriculture

This is the data repository for the article PADiTIndex: Novel index on the propensity for digital transformation in agriculture. This study evaluates the propensity of different countries and markets to digitally transform their agriculture using a newly proposed index called the Propensity for Agricultural Digital Transformation Index (PADiTIndex). This index is based on four indicators: the economic weight of agriculture in a country’s economy, the vulnerability or resilience of its agricultural sector to climate change, its agricultural productivity, and its openness to innovation.
