Compared with the RLS-negative group, the RLS-positive group has a higher mean initial pure tone audiometric threshold, as well as lower age, hypertension prevalence and fasting blood glucose level. RLS shows no significant correlation with therapeutic efficacy. RLS screening should be emphasized in young patients with SSNHL.
