We conducted a survey and research on how the perception of the visually impaired changes by holding a hands-on event with blind soccer players who have participated in the Paralympic Games for elementary school students. All of the target elementary school students had no experience playing sports or blind soccer with the visually impaired. As a result of the questionnaire survey before and after the hands-on class, there was a positive change in the image of the visually impaired in 8 items of 11 items. This study suggests that the view of the visually impaired changes positively when elementary school students experience blind soccer with visually impaired people. In the future, it will be an issue to investigate and study the extent to which the view of the visually impaired is maintained and the changes in the view of people with disabilities in other sports.
