This dataset provides all the data necessary to reproduce the research presented in “Identifying Spatial Variability in Available Water Holding Capacity: Remote Sensing of Plant Response Under a Drying Scenario”. This dataset consists of soil observation data, remote sensing image data, EM38 survey data. The soil observation data includes soil Pressure plate and texture analysis of the soil horizons present at the field site, coordinates to the 48 sampling locations referenced in the paper, soil classification information for each sample location, and soil moisture logger data for 4 of sampling locations in the 2018 field season. The remote sensing data includes both a thermal image and normalized difference vegetation index image from July 12th, 2018 and July 18th, 2018. The remote sensing data is a mosaic that was stitched using the Program Pix4D and is in a. Tiff format. The EM38 survey data is in a .csv format which includes the land locations and shallow conductance value from a EM38 survey with a 12 m pass width. This dataset provides the key data required to reproduce the results from this research.
