Le résumé fourni par la source

With the accelerating global demand for sustainable energy solutions, biofuels have emerged as a critical renewable alternative, drawing significant attention worldwide. As a high-value oilseed crop, oilseed rape offers distinct advantages for biofuel production, including rapid growth cycles, robust adaptability to diverse agroecosystems, and high oil yields, positioning it as an ideal feedstock for bioenergy applications. In this paper, the advantages of oilseed rape as a biofuel producer are discussed in detail, along with an analysis of key factors in its sustainable utilization, including cultivation technology, oil conversion process, and environmental impact, and the future development prospects. Research findings indicate that optimizing cultivation systems and refining conversion processes can unlock oilseed rape’s substantial potential to address energy security challenges while mitigating environmental degradation. Although oilseed rape represents a cornerstone crop in biofuel development, achieving sustainability requires careful balancing of its ecological benefits against potential risks, including land use competition and life cycle emissions. Through technological innovation and strategic policy frameworks, the crop’s environmental performance can be enhanced, enabling its pivotal role in advancing the global energy transition. The long-term viability of oilseed rape-based biofuels hinges on integrating circular economy principles, fostering interdisciplinary collaboration, and implementing adaptive governance models. In the future, it is necessary to balance environmental, economic and social benefits through multidisciplinary collaboration, making it an important supplement to the low-carbon energy transition.
