This dataset contains information on the properties of peat, gyttja and other organic soils. It includes results of laboratory measurements of bulk density, porosity (equivalent to saturated water content), soil organic carbon content, nitrogen content, soil organic carbon density, and nitrogen density. Additionally, it provides field descriptions such as substrate type, horizon, and von Post values.
