Poster: Data on active tectonics of the Eastern and eastern Southern Alps in the last 1 Ma
Résumé fourni par la source
About the poster This poster provides an overview of different data sources on the active tectonics of the Eastern and southern Eastern Alps. It was produced in the framework of a review paper submitted to TECTONICS. The preprint is available here: https://essopenarchive.org/doi/full/10.22541/essoar.176296478.87315631. The poster shows faults from different publicly available fault databases, different published earthquake catalogues, and published GNSS data. It also shows the location of studies on paleoseismology, archaeoseismology, lake paleoseismology, direct fault dating, and caves as earthquake archives, as well as the extend of the last glacial maximum. The hillshade is based on SRTM data (NASA, 2013). The poster comes as a georeferenced TIF-file in format A0 at 450 dpi resolution, which can readily be used as a base map in GIS or for mobile applications in the field. Funding The German Research Foundation (DFG) supported this work with the Priority Programme SPP2017: Mountain Building Process in Four Dimensions (4D-MB) with the projects 365171455 (CG, KR), 442570483 (CG, KR, KU), 442567237 (SM), 362440331 (GP, LH), 668674 (AK), 442570722 (MT, AP), 442590718 (KU, EP), and 363465393 (AJN).
