This repository hosts the data supplements associated with the paper “J-PAS: unprecedented precision in stellar populations of diffuse tidal features”, published in the Astronomy & Astrophysics (A&A) journal (arXiv: 2603.22166). This study investigates the stellar population characteristics found within tidal structures of merger remnants. The analysis relies on several physical indicators, such as the morphology and spatial arrangement of the tidal features. In addition, the presence of spectral signatures, either emission or absorption lines, across different regions of the remnant is examined to better understand the properties of the stellar populations associated with these structures. All required materials to support the results presented in the paper are included here, covering both the input datasets and the generated outputs. The manuscript itself was prepared using Maneage, and its complete source code is also publicly available. To reproduce the paper and its results, consult the instructions provided in the README.md and README-hacking.md files. Some files in the repository contain the version identifier, either within their names or embedded in their content; this string corresponds to the specific Git commit used for the published version of the work. Additionally, the full source of this project has been preserved in Software Heritage for long-term archival access and is also maintained in GitLab.
