Effect of diet on the development of non-alcoholic fatty liver disease.
Le résumé fourni par la source
Diet is a key factor influencing the risk of non-alcoholic fatty liver disease and a key modifiable risk factor in its treatment. The review of the effects of nutrients and different diets shows that dietary choices are a key priority for improving liver health and preventing or managing non-alcoholic fatty liver disease. However, nutrients and each dietary plan can produce different results, which suggests that it is important to assess each case individually and to choose high quality foods such as plenty of fruit, vegetables, whole grains, legumes, nuts, seeds, as well as sources of monounsaturated fatty acids etc.
