Summarizing the primary findings set forth in this volume, this final chapter highlights the authors’ main contributions to the study of medieval archaeology, local multiplicities, and multilingualism in the context of the global Mongol Empire as articulated in the settlement of Yeghegis, light archaeology applied for the first time in this territory, and the importance of building archaeology and archaeology of production for the historical study of societies.
