In-depth investigation into the complex mechanisms underlying immigrant stereotypes, this study employs the Stereotype Content Model to illuminate the importance of both between-country and within-country comparisons during social perception by examining the roles of country-of-origin and host-nation status in shaping perceptions of Nigerian immigrants in the US.
