Climate Extremes and Crop Yield Database for West Africa
Résumé fourni par la source
This database was developed to assess the impacts of extreme climate variability on crop yields across West African agroclimatic zones. It integrates rainfall extreme indices (rainy days, heavy rainfall events, rainfall intensity, and dry and wet spells), temperature variables (mean, minimum, and maximum temperature), and crop yield data for maize, wheat, and rice. All datasets are aggregated at country (ADM0), regional (ADM1), and district (ADM2) levels to enable multi-scale analysis of climate–crop relationships across the region.
