Perspectivas da Aprendizagem Significativa na Educação Ambiental dos indígenas brasileiros

This study had as a goal identifying and analyzing, with a focus on Meaningful Learning, how Environmental Education is being developed in brazilian indigenous schools. A literature review was made in six online data bases. The final sample included 23 articles about pedagogical practices in 26 schools. Environmental Education activities were distributed into 5 categories: expositive, conversational, creative, recreational and practical, these can reveal many methodologies within the context of indigenous lands. Results show methodologies that preserves cultural context, highlighting everyday life and, social and cultural juvenile experiences, culminating in a Meaningful Environmental Education.
