Ensuring the quality and reliability of observational data through rigorous Primary Quality Control (QC1) is a key process in the field of oceanography and related sciences. In EuroGO-SHIP, we have upgraded a specialised software package aimed at streamlining the QC1 process for hydrographic and biochemical data. The EuroGO-SHIP/AtlantOS QC, Version 1.7.0 supports efficient and standardised quality control of hydrographic data with improved usability, transparency, and accessibility. It addresses support gaps of previous versions and incorporates new requirements to better meet the evolving needs of oceanographic research. Here we present the Introduction and Webinar Training Tutorial for the software package. This Key Exploitable Result is an update to the original software package developed in the H2020 AtlantOS project, which concluded in 2018
