Artificial Intelligence in Pulmonary Hypertension: Advancing Early Detection, Risk Stratification, and Therapeutic Decision-Making
Résumé fourni par la source
Pulmonary hypertension (PH) constitutes one of the major global reasons for mortality and morbidity. PH is a complicated and gradually aggressive disorder. The heterogeneous nature of PH makes its diagnosis, risk assessment, and treatment all the more complex. The present chapter addresses the utilization of AI in finding and personalized management of PH. AI-based methods analyze several kinds of data, including cardiac auscultation, electrocardiography (ECG), chest radiography, echocardiography, computed tomography (CT), and cardiac magnetic resonance (CMR) imaging. AI algorithms could enhance diagnostic accuracy by detecting PH earlier, forecasting disease progression and treatment response, and assisting with risk stratification. By integrating comprehensive patient data, such as clinical, genetic, and molecular information, AI assists in the development of personalized treatment plans.
