Le résumé fourni par la source
In the next-generation Wi-Fi standard IEEE 802.11be, the Multi-Link Operation (MLO) feature has been introduced, which enables devices to be equipped with multiple wireless interfaces and simultaneously utilize multiple frequency bands. The performance analysis models for MLO networks have been proposed to clarify the impact of MLO devices behavior on network performance. However, the conventional performance analysis models for MLO networks assumes that networks with only MLO devices, making them inapplicable to networks where MLO devices coexist with legacy Single-Link Operation (SLO) devices. This paper proposes a throughput analysis for MLO network taking into account the coexistence of legacy SLO devices. For achieving that, this paper proposes a Markov chain model taking into account state transitions of the backoff stages for each interface in a MLO device. The validity of the proposed analytical model is demonstrated through comparison with simulation results.
