Skala Suizidales Erleben und Verhalten – 7-Tage Version: Faktorstruktur und psychometrische Eigenschaften
Résumé fourni par la source
Due to fluctuations in suicidal symptoms over time, assessments covering brief periods are essential. This study aims to validate a modified version of the Suicidal Ideation and Behavior Scale (SIBS), focusing on a one-week survey period (SIBS-7d).The SIBS-7d was tested on N=139 patients (41.7% female; age in years M=40.2, SD=15.8) with regard to its psychometric properties. Participants were interviewed within seven days of inpatient admission.A confirmatory factor analysis confirmed the expected one-dimensional structure. The internal consistency was excellent. There was a positive correlation with the Beck Scale for Suicidal Ideation. The findings indicate the suitability of the SIBS-7d for assessing acute suicidal ideation and behavior.
