Le résumé fourni par la source
This paper examines the viability and advantages of integration od Hyperloop inspired frictional braking system in electric vehicles (EVs). In the conventional EVs regenerative braking is employed along with frictional braking due to efficient, reliable and safe operation. The hyperloop inspired system which utilizes the frictional braking under reduced pressure in braking of EVs is investigated in this paper by hardware implementation. It focuses on the investigation of assess if Hyperloop concepts such as magnetic assisted frictionless braking can lead to enhanced braking performance by wear reduction and increase in energy efficiency. This paper also discusses the challenges in maintaining the vacuum settings of the Hyperloop and ensuring safety, under environmental circumstances. This work also compares the traditional braking systems used in EV with hyperloop inspired braking system as pathway for EV braking.
