New Media and Trust Governance: A Study of National Park Stakeholder Collaboration
Résumé fourni par la source
This study explores the role of new media in the trust governance of China's national parks, focusing on new media's unique value in promoting stakeholder cooperation and participation, building trust, and facilitating collaborative governance. Leveraging their strong communication and interaction capabilities, new media enable managers to communicate efficiently with stakeholders, thereby enhancing transparency and public participation. The research finds that new media plays a crucial role in trust governance, especially in rapid trust building, crisis management, and collaborative governance. However, challenges such as information overload, privacy issues, security concerns, regulatory restrictions, and technical shortcomings have emerged. Based on these findings, this paper proposes targeted strategic recommendations to optimize the application of new media in the trust governance of national parks, further promote collaborative governance among all stakeholders, and achieve the sustainable development of national parks.
