Grupo de Mulheres em um CRAS de São João del-Rei: um Relato de Experiência

It is reported the implementation experience and the first year of the development of activities of a group with women, in a Brazilian Social Welfare Reference Center, carried out in the context of a Groups Psychosocial Intervention undergraduate internship, developed at the Federal University of São João del-Rei (UFSJ). The group, built up of and for women, has discussed gender issues, feminism and violence against women, through the experiences of service users. It is highlighted the potential of group interventions for the formation of bonds between the participants and the promotion of singular and collective elaborations. The group process carried out has provided opportunities for meetings whose dialogues open gaps for the reflection of themes, thoughts and emotions and the possibility of doubting certainties that were previously so well consolidated.
