Le résumé fourni par la source

PERCIVAL, a Pixellated Energy-resolving CMOS Imager Versatile and Large, is a 2-megapixel multi-gain X-ray detector designed for photon science experiments at Free Electron Laser (FEL) and synchrotron facilities. The first generation of the chip exhibited two major issues: a non-linear response of the Analog-to-Digital Converters (ADCs), limiting the dynamic range and readout speed to 83 Hz, and a non-uniform current bias across the pixel matrix, rendering pixels at the chip's edges unusable. A second-generation chip, the Respin chip, was designed and produced to address these issues. This paper reports on the characterization of the Respin PERCIVAL chip, demonstrating increased readout speeds through two approaches: changing the mode of operation from Sequential to Full-Speed and increasing the Phase-Locked Loop (PLL) frequency from 125 MHz to 200 MHz. Using these approaches, we plan to push the frame rate of the chip to 300 Hz.
