Real-time monitoring of fast electrons is crucial for long-term stable operation of tokamak plasmas. Indirect measurement of fast electrons can be achieved by monitoring the energy spectra and spatial distributions of hard X-rays. Here we present a highly integrated 63 -channel hard Xray camera system (HXR), capable of resolving hard X-ray profiles and temporally evolving energy spectra per channel with 1 ms time resolution in the$20-700 \text{keV}$energy range. The HXR system achieves a spatial resolution of 2 cm , with a total weight restricted below 50 kg and dimensions limited to$110 \text{cm}(\mathrm{L}) \times 90 \text{cm}(\mathrm{W}) \times 30 \text{cm}(\mathrm{H})$. Laboratory tests using Cs-137 revealed gain deviations of all 63 “detector + circuit channel” units within 6 %. The HXR has been successfully deployed for hard X-ray diagnostics on the HL-3 tokamak at the Southwestern Institute of Physics, China. Experimental results demonstrate the temporal evolution of hard X-ray-counting profiles and energy spectra during lower hybrid current drive (LHCD) operations, showing consistent trends between total HXR counts and LHCD power variations.
