STRATEGI GURU PENDIDIKAN AGAMA ISLAM DI ERA GLOBALISASI DALAM MEMBINA AKHLAK SISWA DI SMA NEGERI 1 LAHAT

This study focuses on two issues: 1) the approaches used by Islamic Religious Education teachers in the era of globalization to educate students' morals at SMA Negeri 1 Lahat; and 2) the factors that support and oppose these approaches to educate students' morals at the same school. This study uses a qualitative approach that collects data through observation, interviews, and documentation. The collected data are analyzed qualitatively through the process of reduction, presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study indicate that Islamic Religious Education teachers use several approaches to educate students' morals at SMA Negeri 1 Lahat. These strategies include: 1) choosing an innovative learning model; 2) an emotional approach; 3) a personal approach; 4) adopting good behaviors such as smiling, greeting, and saluting; 5) making a joint commitment from all parties to support the development of students' morals in the era of globalization; 6) being a role model for students; and 7) being an example for students. In addition, this study found that Islamic Religious Education teachers' strategies can support or hinder the development of students' morals. Supporting factors include teachers, motivation from the environment and family, and joint commitment; Meanwhile, inhibiting factors include internal factors such as lack of student awareness and external factors such as the quality of educators, the environment, and the role of parents.
