Le résumé fourni par la source

This study was performed to compare and analyze the educational content of units including construction technology in nine fifth-grade certified practical arts textbooks developed according to the 2022 revised practical arts curriculum. The goal was to provide a foundation for teachers to effectively teach the construction technology area and offer an educational basis for students to experience and learn about sustainable construction technologies. After establishing a unit of analysis appropriate to the research objectives and defining classification criteria (categories), the textual data was analyzed by dividing it into external structure (compositional format) and internal structure (content elements). The external structure defined in this study encompasses the unit structure and unit composition (unit title, page count, weight, etc.), while the internal structure encompasses content elements (learning objectives, educational content, terminology, content supplementary materials, student activities, and assessment items). The results showed that construction technology was included as a single unit rather than an entire unit. Each textbook contained four to nine pages, covering the categories of knowledge and understanding, process and skills, and values and attitudes. Student activities were presented in various ways in each textbook, including using smart devices and national information platforms. It was confirmed that guidance was needed to further incorporate the values of sharing and openness in maker activities, and that clear guidance was needed on the interpretation of eco-friendly technologies.
