The introduction of immune checkpoint inhibitors (ICIs) has transformed the therapeutic landscape in oncology, yielding substantial improvements in clinical outcomes for patients with various malignancies. Despite these advances, the management of immune-related adverse events (irAEs) remains a significant clinical challenge [1,2], particularly in older adults, who not only constitute the largest proportion, but also regularly present with multimorbidity and polypharmacy [3,4].
