Le résumé fourni par la source

The study weaves into the spatial morphology and sustainability of traditional, native Chinese-style Hui villages by a mixed study of patterning spatial metrics, statistically analyzing the patterns, and perspective information derived from semi-structured interviews. The different layout characteristics of villages such as aspect ratio, building density, and compactness to name a few affects environmental resilience and heritage conservation changes. Quantitative spatial analysis was carried out with QGIS and Python spatial libraries to calculate major spatial morphology indicators such as Aspect Ratio (λ), Building Density (M), Shape Index (SI), and Dispersion Coefficient (DC). These metrics were also subjected to spatial pattern analyses such as kernel density estimation (KDE), nearest neighbor index (NNI), Getis-Ord Gi hotspot analysis, and GeoDetector heterogeneity detection. A three-stage indicator-based set-up was structured: Y1 (Integrated Spatial Sustainability), Y2 (Aspect Ratio), and Y3 (Building Density). Hypothesis testing indicated that compact village forms were significantly correlated with perceived sustainability (r = 0.71, p < 0.001), while modern infrastructure developments were positively correlated with perceived heritage disruption (r = 0.53, p < 0.001). The results highlight the conservation of spatial compactness and restrain infrastructure growth for sustainable development of heritage villages. It paves the way for replicable spatial diagnosis and policy zoning for traditional rural landscapes.
