Power transformers constitute critical components within electrical power systems, making efficiency enhancement a fundamental objective. Thermal energy generation across various sections of oil-immersed transformers represents a significant operational challenge. Temperature elevation emerges as a complex engineering phenomenon stemming from non-uniform distribution of initial oil flow patterns due to convective heat transfer mechanisms. This thermal accumulation can be mitigated by incorporating specific nanoparticles into the base oil. Fluids containing dispersed nanoparticles are classified as nanofluids. This study employs Casson fluid as the transformer oil base medium. Experimental findings demonstrate that introducing WO 3 nanoparticles into transformer oil yields a 4% improvement in thermal performance relative to pure transformer oil without nanofluid enhancement. A comparative examination between two established fractional derivatives Caputo-Fabrizio (CF) and Atangana-Baleanu (AB) was conducted. Closed-form solutions for both AB and CF cases were derived utilizing Laplace and Hankel transform methodologies. The distinct solutions obtained through AB and CF approaches are graphically analyzed, with parametric influences on velocity fields illustrated and interpreted through plotted representations. Results indicate that at unit time, velocity calculations derived from AB and CF models converge to identical values. For time intervals below unity, minor velocity discrepancies emerge, while these differences become more pronounced for time periods exceeding one unit.
