Tourism sector plays a crucial role in the economic and cultural development of Madhya Pradesh; often referred as the "Heart of India" due to its rich heritage, diverse landscapes, and vibrant traditions.This study examines the current scenario of the tourism sector in Madhya Pradesh with major destinations to explore, analysing the key trends in tourist's footfall and its contribution in economy of Madhya Pradesh.The research focuses on various tourism segments including heritage, wildlife, religious, and eco-tourism sites.This study is based on secondary data collected from various reports from Madhya Pradesh Tourism Boards (MPTB), MPSTDC, Economic Survey Reports of Madhya Pradesh, research papers, articles, newspapers and various other websites etc.The findings suggest that Madhya Pradesh as a premier tourist destination in India offering various destinations sites that attracts the tourists towards the state, which represents the sector's strength to boost Tourism in the state.Also, Madhya Pradesh has witnessed steady growth in tourist footfall and contributing significantly to improve the economy of Madhya Pradesh and witness steady recovery after pandemic.
