Abstract This chapter shares the journey of two professionals exploring the dialogue representative of the ontology of be-ing, a philosophical position of Mogobe Ramose, where each party seeks equity in every relational aspect. Our inclusive approaches to supervision were based on dialogue where our parity, as human beings, is recognised in anticipation of the acceptance of a multitude of philosophical positions. We explore dialogue as reciprocal elucidation where a moral position demands the search for truth through the interaction with each other. We suggest that those undertaking professional doctorates can best transform their practice by engaging in what Julie Spencer terms a Transculturate Call and Response relationship.
