From biomarkers to the operating room: solutions that are changing routine practice

This issue focuses on the transition from traditional approaches to personalized, predictive, and preventive medicine, highlighting studies demonstrating the high diagnostic and prognostic value of new biomarkers (such as the sFlt-1/PlGF ratio, miRNA, and VEGF) for the early detection of preeclampsia, the risk of preterm birth, and endometriosis recurrence. Modern surgical tactics are considered, including organ-preserving hemostasis and innovative methods of perioperative analgesia that comply with enhanced recovery after surgery (ERAS) principles.
