Le résumé fourni par la source

The absolute value of cross-flow effects is assumed to be an absolute value disturbance to accurately characterize the relationship between forces acting on an unmanned surface vehicle (USV) and its motion state. A nonlinear parameter-varying disturbance observer (NPVDO) is proposed to compensate for the absolute value disturbance for state feedback (SF) control of heading regulation. First, an NPVDO model is constructed using the gain matrices of full states and varying parameters to compensate for lumped disturbance with absolute value terms. Second, the NPVDO inequality conditions with the coupling terms of gain and the Lyapunov matrix are derived using Lyapunov stability theory and Euler homogeneity. Third, the inequality conditions are converted into NPVDO–sum of squares conditions by applying the projection theorem to eliminate the coupling terms. Last, an SF control law with NPVDO is constructed with SF control theory to regulate the heading motion of USV. Simulations and experiments show that NPVDO is faster than other observers in identifying and compensating for nondifferentiable, nonlinear, parameter-varying disturbances.
