Le résumé fourni par la source
Wireless communication and sensing in underground and electromagnetically constrained spaces present significant challenges due to limited signal propagation, interference, and environmental complexities. High performance wireless components and systems need to be design carefully to satisfy in such real-world multiphysics environments. This paper reviews a novel parallel multi-physics optimization technique for fast design of electromagnetic (EM) components. The reviewed technique uses a pole-residue-based transfer function (PR-TF) to create an efficient and robust surrogate model. Modified quadratic mapping functions link the poles and residues of TF to the design variables. This method achieves optimal EMcentric multi-physics responses in few iterations. This reviewed work provides a foundation for developing robust solutions for monitoring and communication in underground infrastructures.
