Effect of the Spray-Coated Inorganic Charge Transport Layer on the Perovskite Thin-Film Solar Cell Performance
Résumé fourni par la source
This study investigates the impact of spray-coated inorganic charge transport layers (ETLs) on perovskite thin-film solar cell performance, addressing the electrical performance issues of perovskite devices by exploring the use of aluminum oxide$(\mathrm{A}1_{2}\mathrm{O}_{3})$as an ETL. Aluminum oxide films of varying thicknesses (10–25 nm) were deposited onto perovskite layers via ultrasonic spray coating, and the resulting solar cell characteristics were analyzed. The results demonstrated that an$\mathrm{A}1_{2}\mathrm{O}_{3}$thickness of 20 nm yielded the best power conversion efficiency (PCE) of 13.91%, attributed to improved light absorption and optimized interface engineering. However, thicknesses exceeding 20 nm led to decreased performance due to the insulating properties of$\mathrm{A}1_{2}\mathrm{O}_3$. This research confirms that spray coating is a scalable method for ETL deposition and highlights the importance of optimizing ETL thickness to enhance perovskite solar cell performance.
