Le résumé fourni par la source

Low-rank coal in China is abundant but difficult to float due to its high content of oxygen-containing functional groups and strong surface hydrophilicity. This study investigates the flotation performance of a mixed collector system composed of diesel oil (DO) and dibutyl phthalate (DBP) at different ratios, from both macroscopic and microscopic perspectives. Flotation tests, wrap angle and adhesion force measurements, and molecular dynamics simulations were conducted to evaluate the system. Results indicate that a DO:DBP ratio of 1:3 significantly improves flotation, achieving a combustible recovery of 79.35% and a clean coal yield of 67.90% with low ash content. The 1:3 ratio also showed the largest wrap angle and highest adhesion force, indicating stronger particle – bubble attachment. Molecular simulations revealed that the mixed collector forms more hydrogen bonds (43), has stronger adsorption energy (−264.4 kcal/mol), and ensures better surface coverage than individual components. The synergy between DO and DBP allows the polar component to shield hydrophilic sites while the nonpolar component enhances hydrophobicity. This improves flotation efficiency and provides an in-depth microscopic analysis of the action mechanism of the mixed collector system, offering a promising approach for the clean and efficient utilization of low-rank coal.
