The methodological recommendations contain a comprehensive approach to the organization of screening, diagnosis, treatment, and dispensary observation of patients with precancerous changes and early forms of malignant neoplasms of the upper gastrointestinal tract as part of the dispensary observation of certain groups of the adult population. The document includes algorithms for patient routing, aspects of conducting questionnaires and esophagogastroduodenoscopy. The criteria for the quality of endoscopic examinations, standards for photo documentation, principles of anesthesiological support, and subsequent dispensary observation are described in detail. The recommendations have been developed in accordance with current regulatory and legal acts and clinical recommendations of the Russian Federation and international standards, and have been adapted for practical application.The methodological recommendations are designed for doctors providing primary health care, therapists, general practitioners, endoscopists, oncologists, gastroenterologists, and health care administrators.
