A systematic review of machine learning and deep learning applications in information security governance

Information security governance is an essential aspect of modern businesses and organisations that aims to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of their information assets. Deep learning and machine learning techniques can be utilised in different organisations to enhance information security governance by providing advanced capabilities for detecting, preventing, and responding to various cyber threats and attacks. This research aims to systematically review the state-of-the-art deep learning and machine learning approaches and frameworks utilised in information security governance. More than 80 papers from four different databases were evaluated and reviewed, as detailed in this chapter.
