Le résumé fourni par la source
Very-high-energy (VHE) gamma-rays serve as crucial probes for investigating the origin, acceleration mechanisms, propagation characteristics, and material composition of cosmic rays. The Imaging Atmospheric Cherenkov Technique (IACT) is one of the primary methods for detecting such VHE 𝛾-rays. This study aims to utilize the Monte Carlo method to simulate and analyze the lateral density distribution, longitudinal development, spatial angular distribution, and arrival time distribution of Cherenkov light generated by VHE 𝛾-rays under various incident conditions at the location of Large Array of Imaging Atmospheric Cherenkov Telescopes (LACT). The results of this simulation and analysis will provide essential theoretical foundations and physical insights for the subsequent optimization of the energy reconstruction algorithms for the LACT and for the effective discrimination between 𝛾-ray events and hadronic events.
