Le résumé fourni par la source

The authors regret an error identified in Fig. 8, titled “Combination treatment of miR-486–5p and tamoxifen decreases cancer stem cell (CD24-/CD44+) population in both non-resistant and tamoxifen-resistant BC cells.” In the originally published figure, incorrect representative images were included due to an inadvertent selection error during the figure preparation process. This mistake was entirely accidental and occurred during the assembly of multiple panels in the one image, where the wrong set was unintentionally selected for final inclusion. In the original result text, we wrote” Cancer stem cell population CD24-/CD44+ decreased in combined treatment in both non-resistant and resistant cells (P < 0.05). Besides the population of CD24-/CD44+ significantly was increased in combination treatments(P < 0.05)”, however, the correct wording should be “Both MCF-7 and TR-MCF-7 cells initially predominantly expressed CD24-/CD44+. Following treatment with either Tamoxifen or miR-486, the majority of cells differentiated into CD24-/CD44+ or CD24-/CD44+ cells. Combined treatment with Tamoxifen and miR-486 resulted in a slight increase in the proportion of CD24-/CD44+ cells compared to Tamoxifen treatment. In TR-MCF-7 cells, treatment with miR-486, resulted in an increased proportion of CD24-/CD44+ cells, along with a smaller shift towards CD24-/CD44+ cells compared to Tamoxifen treatment (P < 0.05). Additionally, in the combination of miR-486 and Tamoxifen, more cells differentiated into CD24-/CD44+, indicating a transition towards a more differentiated state.” In the original figure caption, we wrote however, the revised wording should be “miR-486–5p treatment enhances differentiation in tamoxifen-resistant breast cancer. It increases the proportion of CD24-/CD44+ cells, induces a smaller shift towards CD24-/CD44+ cells, and reduced CD24-/CD44+ cells (*P < 0.05).” And in the original discussion text, we wrote ”We show that the co-treatment of miR-486–5p and tamoxifen decreases the BC stem cell phenotype, as evidenced by reduced sizes and numbers of mammospheres, colonies and cancer stem cell population CD24-/CD44+ and increase CD24-/CD44+ population.”, The correct wording should be “We show that the co-treatment of miR-486–5p and tamoxifen decreases the BC stem cell phenotype, as evidenced by reduced sizes and numbers of mammospheres, colonies and cancer stem cell population CD24-/CD44+ and increased CD24-/CD44+ and CD24-/CD44+ population.”
