Le résumé fourni par la source

Motivation: Patient motion during MRI acquisition presents a particular challenge for MR fingerprinting since related artifacts may not be obvious in quantitative maps. Goal(s): The goal of this work is to integrate a previously proposed MRF motion detection algorithm into the scanner workflow to provide real-time feedback to the operator. Approach: We created an MRF motion detection scan assistant application based on published algorithms and integrated it into the scanner using a prototype scan assistant interface. Results: The proposed tool was successfully evaluated on a proof-of-concept level in a healthy volunteer with prospective motion experiments. Impact: Automated, workflow-integrated motion-detection would help relieve the burden on the professionals, reduce loss of clinical information, and improve scanning efficiency, thereby, simplifying the workflow. It contributes and hopefully motivates researchers to push towards autonomous scanning, thereby, democratizing availability of MRI.
