Cyber-physical systems: Bridging the gap between the virtual and real worlds
Le résumé fourni par la source
It is difficult for standalone technology to enable seamless interaction between human and machines, consequently it is required to integrate physical & software systems through Cyber Physical Systems so that computing devices communicate with each other to monitor and control physical tasks. To achieve interoperability, CPS was designed that includes sensors & actuators in a feedback loop to support new technology systems like self-driving cars. In this article, we discuss the various types of CPS and its real-life applications, which are making the life of humans easy and reliable. CPS is currently a interest of academia, industry and government. A new generation of digital systems is introduced, with sophisticated data management as well as advanced connection that incorporates real-time data collecting from the physical world. Increasing the flexibility and dependability of large-scale systems is the goal of CPS systems. This survey&s;s objective is to provide academics and system designers with information about the functions and uses of CPSs, encouraging them to come up with creative ideas for bringing widespread CPS adoption to fruition.
