Le résumé fourni par la source

This study aims to explore the benefit finding (BF) profile and to identify heterogeneous subgroups in patients with ischemic stroke. From November 2021 to July 2022, the cross-sectional study was carried out among patients with ischemic stroke using a convenient sampling. The general information questionnaire, modified Rankin Scale, revised Benefit Finding Scale, and Mutuality Scale were used for the investigation. Latent Profile Analysis was utilized to examine benefit finding profiles of ischemic stroke patients, and multiple logistic regression analysis was implemented to assess the impact of various factors on distinct profiles. A total of 241 ischemic stroke patients were enrolled in this survey. Respondents were divided into three benefit finding subgroups: low benefit finding-unacceptable group (N = 131, 54.4 %), moderate benefit finding-perceived support group (N = 89, 36.9 %), and high benefit finding-personal growth group (N = 21, 8.7 %). Multivariate logistic regression analysis showed that age (OR = 1.130, 95 %CI: 1.062-1.203, P<0.001), monthly income (OR = 0.203, 95 %CI: 0.060-0.686, P = 0.010), and mutuality scores (OR = 1.090, 95 %CI: 1.028-1.156, P = 0.004) were positively associated with BF, and religious belief (OR = 0.112, 95 %CI: 0.018-0.715, P = 0.021) was associated with higher BF. Significant differences exist in the classification characteristics of benefit finding among ischemic stroke patients. Medical practitioners ought to evaluate the diverse traits of benefit finding in stroke patients and adopt specific psychological intervention strategies for its enhancement.
