Fifth generation (5G) technology has ushered in a new era in healthcare, significantly transforming the landscape of telemedicine and mobile health (mHealth) applications. This research provides a concise overview of the profound impact that 5G technology has had on the healthcare industry, particularly in the realm of remote healthcare delivery and mHealth applications. 5G wireless technology offers ultra-fast data transfer speeds, minimal latency, and enhanced network capacity. These attributes have enabled a myriad of innovative solutions for telemedicine and mHealth apps. Patients can now engage in real-time telemedicine consultations with 120 healthcare providers, supported by high-quality audio and video streaming, making remote healthcare interactions more lifelike and effective. mHealth apps have experienced a surge in capabilities, facilitating continuous patient monitoring through wearable devices and sensors. With 5G, medical data can be transmitted in real time, empowering healthcare professionals to offer prompt and accurate diagnoses, personalized treatment plans, and timely interventions. Furthermore, cloud-based artificial intelligence and data analytics tools are more accessible, allowing for data-driven insights and predictive analytics in healthcare. This research underscores the significance of data security and privacy in telemedicine and mHealth apps, emphasizing the need for robust encryption and regulatory compliance 137 to safeguard patient information. Furthermore, the improved user experience afforded by 5G technology has led to higher adoption rates among healthcare providers and patients. The impact of 5G on telemedicine and mHealth apps is ongoing, with the technology facilitating the expansion of telehealth services, extending healthcare access to remote and underserved areas. Research and development in this field continue to drive innovation, promising further advancements in the delivery of remote healthcare services. In conclusion, 5G has revolutionized telemedicine and mHealth applications, enhancing patient care, improving healthcare access, and promoting the growth of the telehealth industry. This research provides a glimpse into the remarkable possibilities and transformative potential of 5G technology in healthcare. In the present research, health issues have been prioritized considering non-optimization and optimization mechanisms, and simulation has been made to evaluate the average packet delivery, average delay, packet dropping, and energy consumption.
