This chapter explores the evolving landscape of dental public health, focusing on the critical roles of policy innovation, digital technology, and workforce transformation in advancing equitable oral health systems globally. It highlights the persistent burden of oral diseases, particularly in low- and middle-income countries, and the urgent need for integrated public health responses aligned with the WHO Global Oral Health Action Plan (2023–2030) and the UN Sustainable Development Goals. The chapter outlines emerging policy directions, including universal health coverage, the integration of oral health into primary care, and fiscal innovations for sustainable service delivery. It also examines the potential of digital health, artificial intelligence, and tele-dentistry in transforming access, prevention, and care. Furthermore, the chapter underscores the importance of reimagining the dental workforce through interdisciplinary models and community engagement.
