Intravenous Golimumab in Children With Polyarticular-Course Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis: Long-Term Extension of an Open-Label Phase III Study
Le résumé fourni par la source
J Rheumatol 2024; doi: 10.3899/jrheum.2024-0298 Following the initial publication of this article, the study team became aware of additional nonserious adverse events (AEs) that occurred during the long-term extension study. Updated numbers of "Any AE" and "Infections," along with their corresponding rates (per 100 patient-years of exposure) are provided here. The number of "Any AE" and its corresponding rate (in parentheses) has been updated to 969 (208.4) from 965 (207.5). The number of "Infections" and its corresponding rate (in parentheses) has been updated to 428 (92.0) from 426 (91.6). The corrected numbers and rates of these 2 events are reflected in the updated Table below. In addition, the following 2 sentences under "Safety outcomes" in the Results section are revised with the corrected rates per 100 person-years for "Any AE" and "Infections," respectively (other rates within those sentences are unchanged). The first revised sentence is "Through week 252, the rates of AEs, serious AEs (SAEs), and AEs leading to discontinuation per 100 patient-years of exposure were 208.4, 7.7, and 6.5, respectively (Table)." The second revised sentence is "The rates of infections and serious infections per 100 patient-years were 92.0 and 3.9, respectively." These changes are minor and do not affect the interpretation of the data or the conclusions regarding the safety of golimumab in polyarticular-course juvenile idiopathic arthritis. This erratum was submitted to ensure scientific accuracy and transparency. The authors apologize for these errors. This correction applies to the August 15 2024 First Release and the print issue. The online version has now been corrected.
