Antibodies to Angiotensin II Type 1 Receptor and Endothelin Type A Receptor in the First Year Post-Transplant Are Associated with Decline in Renal Function and HLA Donor Specific Antibodies at 5 Years Post-Transplant in Pediatric Kidney Transplant Recipients
Résumé fourni par la source
Purpose: Non-HLA antibodies to angiotensin II type 1 and endothelin type A receptors (AT1R- and ETAR-Abs) are highly prevalent and associated with poor clinical outcomes in single center cohorts of pediatric kidney transplant recipients (KTRs). We aimed to investigate the prevalence, risk factors, and clinical impact of AT1R and/or ETAR-Ab positivity in the first year post-transplant in a large multi-center cohort of pediatric KTRs with extended follow up.
