Purpose: Following introduction of Direct-acting antivirals (DAAs) for HCV treatment, most patients achieve sustained viral response (SVR); however, optimal timing for HCV treatment in patients listed for liver transplantation (LT) remains debated. This study analyzes the OPTN dataset to assess the impact of HCV status on post-LT outcomes to determine whether active HCV infection at LT impacts post-op complication following LT.
