Le résumé fourni par la source
Bamboo fiber, a natural renewable resource, has garnered significant interest in composite materials due to its outstanding mechanical properties and eco-friendly attributes. However, the interfacial affinity between polar hydroxyl groups on the surface of bamboo fiber and non-polar polymers needs to be improved, resulting in insufficient interfacial bonding strength of the composite. In this paper, three kinds of methods to improve the interfacial affinity between bamboo fiber and non-polar polymer matrix are systematically reviewed. In the first method, physical compatibilization of the binding interface by removing impurities on the surface of bamboo fiber at high temperature or activating the surface groups of bamboo fiber by plasma. In the second methods can change the surface functional groups of bamboo fiber through chemical reaction, and reduce the polarity difference between the surface of bamboo fiber and non-polar polymer. The third method is combining physical modification with chemical modification. This method is key for biological composite development. Modified bamboo fiber compounded with PE, PP, etc. applies to automotive, outdoor furniture, and kitchenware fields. The research guides bamboo fiber/non-polar polymer interface optimization and performance enhancement, crucially advancing biomass composites.
