Le résumé fourni par la source
This work opens up the application of synchrotron time-resolved small-angle X-ray scattering (SAXS) technology in the in-situ study of dust explosions. By constructing a SAXS experimental system adapted to the explosive environment, time-resolved (10 ms) observations of the dynamic changes in the nanostructure of dust porosity during the explosion process were achieved. Combined with thermogravimetric analysis (TG-DTG, thermogravimetric analysis-differential thermal gravimetry) and pressure testing, the differences in explosion behaviors and their micromechanisms of three typical dusts (coking coal, pine wood, and wheat flour) were revealed. The experiments showed that the physicochemical composition of the dust (carbon content, volatiles) and its porosity structure (pore size distribution, specific surface area) synergistically control the explosion intensity. High carbon dusts release strong energy through rapid expansion-collapse of multiscale pores, while high oxygen dusts weaken explosion intensity due to delayed pore expansion with isolated cavities compounded by oxidative suppression. The research fills the gap in the microdynamics of dust explosions, reveal the quantitative relationship between pore dynamics and energy release, provide new insights into the physical mechanisms of explosions, and offer a key scientific foundation for the precise design of industrial explosion-proof strategies.
