Le résumé fourni par la source
Ammonium metatungstate (AMT), with the chemical formula (NH4)6[H2W12O40]·XH2O (AMT-X), is commonly used as a precursor for tungsten-oxygen cluster catalysts, which play a crucial role in metastable tungsten oxide-based photoelectroncatalysis. However, AMT crystals produced industrially often exhibit phase coexistence, resulting in varying X-ray powder diffraction patterns and leading to instability in the structure and performance of the tungsten-oxygen cluster catalysts. In this study, single-phase columnar AMT crystals were synthesized through alcoholic precipitation. The results revealed that the crystals obtained were single-phase AMT-12.5 ((NH4)6[H2W12O40]−12.5H2O), containing 12.5 water molecules. Additionally, the structure, morphology, thermal decomposition behavior in both air and argon atmospheres, and light absorption properties of AMT-12.5 crystals were investigated using techniques such as SEM, XRD, TG-DSC, TG-MS, and UV spectroscopy.
